Dermabrasion
Diamond microdermabrasion is a skin restoration process. It is used for skin resurfacing and treating a wide range of skin imperfections. It is said to regenerate the epidermal cell structure increasing skin's elasticity and collagen, resulting in more youthful looking skin.
Diamond microdermabrasion is a technique for removing the topmost layer of skin leaving it supple and vibrant. The diamond wand removes this layer of skin by gently exfoliating the skin with natural diamond chips, while at the same time vacuuming the dead skin cells away in a sterile and controlled manner. Removing this outer layer of dead skin cells leaves a smoother texture and promotes the growth of healthy new skin cells.
Diamond microdermabrasion using a diamond wand is similar to particle microdermabrasion and chemical peels in its results but without the adverse effects of loose particles, irritation and skin reaction. Unlike other exfoliation treatments, the Diamond microdermabrasion resurfacing system uses no loose abrasives to contaminate you or the environment.
